Dr. Charlotte Robinson – PT, DPT, SDN, SFMA
Charlotte Robinson PT Mobile Physical Therapist
I began my journey toward becoming a physical therapist at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where I earned my Bachelor of Health Sciences degree. I then attended the University of Colorado, receiving my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2018.
From the very start, it was clear that physical therapy was my calling. Every day, I love what I do—helping people get back to the activities that bring meaning to their lives, and approaching each body as a unique, individualized puzzle.
Since PT school, I have become certified in Selective Functional Movement Analysis (SFMA) and Functional Movement Analysis (FMA). These frameworks form the foundation of my treatment approach, emphasizing whole-body care and helping me understand how different areas of the body are connected. I often tell patients: “Where you feel pain is often just the symptom, not the root cause.” I love exploring all the factors that may have contributed to an injury because injuries rarely happen in isolation—they always involve the entire kinetic chain.
I’ve lived in Colorado since 2016. In 2021, I met my husband, Thomas, and we now live in the Denver Metro area with our two dogs, Burton and Moose. On the weekends you can find us camping and exploring the mountains, which is our favorite part of Colorado.
Burton and Moose are a special part of my practice. If they’re around, you might find them lounging on the table with patients or greeting you enthusiastically at the door. They are always happy to be part of the Peak Movement experience, if you’d like them to be!
